An itemized estimate is a detailed breakdown of the costs associated with the repair of your Boat, PWC, 5th wheel, etc... It will include a list of individual service items and parts, along with their costs. Sometimes your insurance requests one and can help in making it easier to understand and evaluate the overall cost of the project/damage caused. Once estimate is complete, It can be emailed or picked up in person.
An Itemized estimate will consist of:
Description of Work or Items: A detailed description of the work to be done or the parts to be purchased.
Quantity: The quantity or number of each parts or units of work to be provided.
Unit Price: The cost per unit of each part or service.
Total Cost per Item: The total cost for that specific part or service.
Subtotal: The total cost before any additional charges, taxes.
Taxes: If applicable, any taxes that need to be added to the subtotal, such as sales tax.
Additional Charges: Shipping and handling charges on parts if known and applicable. As well as the cost of the Itemized estimate if purchased.
Grand Total: The final estimated overall cost.
